Hello, hello! If you follow me on stories (which you def should), you would know that I have a slight obsession with skincare. Having struggled with acne for most of my teen years, I declared my morning and night skincare routines to be non-negotiable. From makeup removers to cleansers and ALL the oils, here is my current list of items that I am absolutely loving:
I've tried so many "high-end" cleansers but I truly do not love any of them like the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Skin Cleanser. This acne face wash not only smells amazing, but it gets deep down into pores to remove oil and leaves my skin feeling fresh. Plus, it has salicylic acid which kills the bacteria that causes acne. (We love salicylic acid).
2. Olay Stick Mask in Glow Boost $9.99
ANOTHER drug store product. I was introduced to the Olay stick masks back in December and my initial thought was that there was FINALLY a mask that I could apply without getting my hands dirty. Weird, but so true. However, after using this mask every couple of days, I noticed a clear difference in my skin. Each of the masks are formulated with premium Kaolin clay which micro-exfoliates skin to remove impurities - just what every New Yorker needs.
Two words: life changing. Now I know this moisturizer is on the pricier side, but please trust me when I say this is the moisture your skin has been craving. Formulated with an exclusive combination of vitamin E, nutrient-rich algae extracts and a blend of botanical extracts, this daily moisturizer protects skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth without any greasy residue.
4. Drunk Elephant C-Firma $80
Vitamin C is my superhero. I look for it in all my day time products so finding this super-potent vitamin C day serum was a score. This product has powerful antioxidant complex, essential nutrients, fruit enzymes, and a chronopeptide that mimics the antioxidant benefits of vitamin D, all working together to firm and brighten the appearance of skin, while improving the signs of photoaging. I mean, what could be better than that?
